Later this month dozens of adults with disabilities and medical conditions will enjoy their holidays at the Kananaskis facility.
“For those adults, this is probably the only vacation they’re going to have this year so it’s pretty important and it’s pretty impactful,” said Larry Mathieson, CEO of Easter Seals.
Shannon Burch, ATB Calgary market vice president was eager to roll up her sleeves and help out.
“To think that you impacted 60 people’s lives, that’s pretty amazing,” she said.
Johnny, who calls Camp Horizon his home away from home, was one of the first campers to see this year’s decorations.
“It’s marvelous,” he said.
